Tracey BrownTracey Brown

Tracey Brown is thrilled to part of the 10th anniversary Holiday Train tour.

Tracey Brown recently released a new c.d., "Alone", with the first single, "If You Wanna Keep My Love" now at radio.Alone" marks Tracey's second solo c.d. and her 21st overall release.

As a former member of Canada's most awarded country band, The Family Brown, Tracey began a career on stage, record and television at the tender age of 10. She went on to form Juno award winning group, Prescott-Brown with her brother, award winning songwriter, Barry Brown, and husband, Grammy nominee and multi award winning producer and instrumentalist, Randall Prescott.

In 1998 Tracey released her first solo c.d. "Woman's Work" which garnered a Juno nomination for Country Female Vocalist and a CCMA nomination for Independent Female Vocalist. Tracey charted 3 singles off the c.d. and released 3 videos.

Tracey is a CCMA and Ottawa Valley Country Music Hall of Fame member.

Tracey has been part of the CP family for some time. Not only has she been performing on the tour, but has been co-producing the stage show aspect for 6 years. She was also part of the first CP Spirit Train tour this past fall, traveling coast to coast with Métis fiddler/singer, Sierra Noble and headliner, Colin James.

She looks forward to being part of this special rolling fundraiser, and sharing the stage with CCMA award winning vocalist, Johnny Reid.

Shaun VerreaultShaun Verreault

Verreault is best known as the virtuosic singer/guitarist/song-writer for blues-rockers and Canadian live favourites Wide Mouth Mason (currently at work on their 7th album together)

This is the third year that CP is proud to have Shaun Verreault from Wide Mouth Mason aboard for the 2008 Holiday Train.

While aboard the Holiday Train in 2006, Verreault recognized what a rare musical opportunity it would be to record an album on the journey. "Two Steel Strings" is the second solo-acoustic release from Shaun, which was recorded on the Holiday Train in 2007 while travelling from Montreal to Vancouver. Melanie DoaneMelanie Doane

Melanie Doane is a home-grown Juno award-winning singer and songwriter whose live brilliance has captured audiences since 1995. The 1998 release of Doane's sophomore album Adam's Rib bestowed her with Best New Solo Artist honors at the Juno Awards, four top 40 singles and a gold record and the Canadian Radio Award for Most Charted New Artist.

Doane has toured with Jann Arden, Sarah McLachlan, Great Big Sea and The Philosopher Kings.

Doane's latest collection of clever lyrical gems, You Are What You Love, includes the top hit singles Still Desire You, Wilma Or A Betty Man and the title track.
