- 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm Photos with Santa and candy bags for children
- 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm Wis Dells High School Band & Choir
- 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm - Food & Beverage Sale (grilled Brats/Hot Dogs)
- 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm - Wagon Rides
- 2:30 pm - 2:45 pm - Presentations by Special Donors
- 2:45 pm - 3:45 pm - CP Holiday Train Entertainment
Calling all families – please mark your calendars for Sunday December 4, 2011, as the majestic holiday train of the Canadian Pacific Railway will make be making its sixth stop in Wisconsin Dells to raise food, money, and awareness for our local community food pantry. The train will arrive at approximately 2:45 p.m. Santa will be around before the train arrives for photos with the children and he will have candy for them. Wagon rides will be available for a donation. CWCAC will be holding a brat cook-out and beverages will be provided by Starbuck’s. Raffle tickets are AVAILABLE NOW and can be purchased in advance either at CWCAC or at the Amtrak train depot. Grand Prize once again is 2 Green Bay Packer tickets located in the Leap Zone.
Our own local WDHS Band will be performing. This year's Holiday Train entertainers and musicians include:
- Melanie Doane, The product of a musical family, Halifax-born and Juno-Award winning Doane is a national musical treasure. Over the last ten years, she has managed to promote her numerous solo albums, raise a family and solidify her reputation as one of Canada's most talented and diverse musicians and entertainers.
Remember: Please try to bring a non-perishable food item and don't forget to purchase your raffle ticket. Every dollar that you donate for this event will enable the purchase of 5 pounds of food at the local food bank.
